ALB Exclusive -- Simon To Work Out With Brewers: Could Randall Simon be returning to the scene of the crime? Sure sounds that way.

I've been hearing from a few sources that the former Newark Bears first baseman will be working out for the Milwaukee Brewers next month. The 33-year-old native of Curacao put up some pretty solid numbers in the Den last season, hitting .321 with 11 home runs and 62 RBI.

But perhaps more impressive was his .990 fielding percentage, which certainly isn't too surprising to anyone who's followed Simon's long career.

Simon, who you may remember had his infamous "sausage incident" at Milwaukee's Miller Park, could make a lot of sense for the Brewers. Simon could serve as a mentor for Prince Fielder, who made 17 errors while manning first base for the Brew Crew in 2008, and also could be a left-handed bat with some pop coming off of the bench.

I'm sure a lot of people reading this saw Simon play last season, what do you guys think?
